Matthieu Farcot works in the ICT valorization Unit of the CITI, CRP Henri Tudor. His background is both in economics and law : he holds a PhD in economics from the Beta, ULP, Strasbourg, defended on the issue of intellectual property dynamics in the software industry. He also holds a Master degree in IP and European law, obtained from the CEIPI, URS, Strasbourg and a master degree equivalent in IP management from the IEEPI, Strasbourg. His work and interrest is mostly focused on IPR managemement and valorization of Open Source projects.
Matthieu is the president of the OpenProfessionals asbl.
Laurent works in Audaxis, with for mission the development of Open Source services in the areas of corporate management (ERP, CRM, BI …) and Internet (Internet, Extranet & Intranet portals, webservices …) in Benelux and east of France. He started by a Master of Science in Business Management from the Business School of Lille (France), and spent 4 years as sales manager of an agency that specializes in web and e-marketing before his coming in Audaxis.
Laurent is the vice-president of the OpenProfessionals asbl.
Andreas Jahnen has studied Computer Science at the University of Applied Sciences in Trier, Germany. He started in 1999 as a research engineer at the Centre de Recherche Henri Tudor - SANTEC. In 2005 he successfully completed his Master of Science - Frontiers in medical science - degree from the Open University / UK. His main research interests are medical image processing, especially the evaluation of image quality. He is also interested in topics related to free and open source software and since years active in the organisation of open source events like the Linuxdays Luxembourg or the ImageJ Conference Luxembourg.
